What's Not to Love About Massachusetts

Where do I start. I have loved Massachusetts since I went to law school there in the 70's. The state offers almost everything, including high taxes, which is why I don't live there. But what a great place to visit. From the peace and tranquility of the Cape to the history of Boston, to the beauty of Williamstown, Massachusetts has it all. As I go back, I will post things that I have done there and hope you will do the same. Two places that most travelers will miss are restaurants around Boston. If you love lobster, and want to find it at a reasonable price, then let me suggest Alive and Kicking Lobsters in Cambridge. This outdoor restaurant is just like an old fashioned roadside lobster stand in Maine, but it is only minutes from Downtown Boston and well worth the trip. Charges are by the pound and you can get almost any size lobster you want along with chowder. The food is great, but the experience is something you will talk about for a long time. Just north of there in Woburn is a family restaurant that the locals know all too well. Bickfords Grille is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but if you want a unique dish, go for breakfast and have the lobster omelet. I swear that they put almost a whole lobster in it and it was cooked to perfection. A bit more pricey, but well worth it. Let me know what you think.
